Presentation of iPad Application for IP Video Surveillance Took Place at Cisco & ARMO-Line Seminar
On March 28 in Moscow, Cisco and ARMO-Line held a joint seminar for their clients to introduce Cisco’s new products and innovative solutions for IP video surveillance systems. Presentation of an application for iPad tablets, specifically developed for remote video surveillance system monitoring and control, took place during the event.
As part of the overview of Cisco’s new products for video surveillance systems, the audience was offered a visual demonstration of operation of standard and high resolution IP cameras, introduction of built-in video analytical capabilities, and announcement of new Video Surveillance Manager 7.0 release.
In his presentation, Cisco business development manager Oleg Saenko identified general development prospects and advantages of Cisco video surveillance system, emphasizing extensive capabilities of its integration with IT and security systems.
Presentation of iPad application, specifically developed by ARMO-Line for video surveillance system remote monitoring and control, took place within the framework of the seminar. After installing the application on his tablet, user can remotely connect to cameras installed in his office and watch what goes on there in real time.
According to ARMO-Line business development director Yury Zhukovsky, the new software is an image-building product and will be highly appreciated by senior managers who want to keep the track of events at all times.
Functionally, the application supports H.264 codec, allows to use unlimited number of cameras, and features a user-friendly PTZ control interface. For convenience, cameras can be linked with specific room plans.
