ARMO Training Center opens a new cycle of refresher courses for construction specialists and offers training programs in design, installation, and commissioning of various building systems, as well as specialized programs based on NOSTROY (National Builders Association) recommendations for construction security. Unlike other training centers, providing advanced training for construction specialists, ARMO Training Center program includes courses to study operation of Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls building systems, CoDeSys, and other manufacturers. Professional approach to training program development and individual approach to each student ensure high quality of training in the shortest time.

Refresher courses for construction specialists at ARMO Training Center are targeted at CEOs and specialists in design, installation, commissioning, and operation of internal and external building systems, including power supply, communication, automation, monitoring, and low-voltage systems. ARMO Training Center offers refresher courses for construction specialists both inside the Center, and on Client’s site. The courses take 72 or 102 hours of training with a corresponding certificate issued on completion.

Training is organized in small groups not exceeding 8 people, which allows to work individually with each student, improve quality of training, and minimize time required for construction specialists to get advanced training within the required framework. Every training program at ARMO Training Center can be adapted to meet client’s requirements and cover issues required to ensure safe, high-quality, and trouble-free work at a specific construction facility.

Refresher programs developed according to NOSTROY recommendations cover three courses:

• Construction safety and quality of building systems and networks, including at technically demanding, high hazard, and unique facilities;
• Construction safety and quality of electric networks and communication lines;
• Construction safety and quality of HVAC system installation and commissioning.

Each course has been developed according to ‘Guidelines for developing model refresher training programs for the purpose of obtaining a permit to work effecting safety of construction facilities’ approved by the Council of National Builders Association (NOSTROY). ARMO Training Center provides refresher training for construction specialists with in-depth coverage of building system and network quality issues, and introduces students to new construction and engineering technologies.

It should be also noted that ARMO Training Center also offers a 102 hour ‘Design of building systems for high hazard, technically demanding, and unique facilities’ refresher training program, with a special Certificate issued on completion and allowing to get SRO permit to carry out construction work at high hazard, technically demanding, and unique facilities.

Parallel to studying theory, refresher course students back up their knowledge by practical exercises on the Center’s special equipment. To study technology and specificity of equipment, the Center offers training kits, stands and a control room equipped according to standards of Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, etc. In addition, the classroom is equipped with LON system meeting Echelon standards. Practical exercises within refresher course are organized with real equipment or at real facilities and demonstrate building system operation techniques.
