ARMO Training Center Launches Refresher Courses to Allow Security Specialists to Obtain Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) License
ARMO Training Center has developed refresher programs for specialists in security systems of various levels, and offers a range of training courses in their design, installation and commissioning, including courses required for getting MES License. Unlike other training centers providing security refresher training, ARMO Training Center, in addition to mandatory theoretical course, offers practical training according to programs recommended by Simplex, Honeywell Esser, Aritech, Lenel, and other equipment manufacturers, to back up theoretical knowledge by practical skills of operation of popular systems.
New courses are targeted at specialists in installation, design and operation of burglar & fire alarm, fire extinguishing and smoke protection systems, as well as access control and CCTV systems. ARMO Training Center has included into its refresher program practical exercises held in purpose-oriented laboratories of the Center, which has all required infrastructure. Practical training is provided using equipment of world-known manufacturers, including Aritech, AXIS Communications, Esser, Lenel, Satel, Simplex, Smartec, etc.
Retraining and refresher program for security specialists includes eight 72 or 102 hour courses, with corresponding certificates issued on completion:
- SK-2 New technologies for security system design, installation and operation;
- TSB-1 Building security equipment design and commissioning;
- TSB-2 Building security equipment installation and operation;
- TSB-4 Building fire protection system design, installation, and commissioning;
- TSB-5 Design, installation and commissioning of security equipment for high hazard, technically demanding, and unique facilities;
- TSB-6 Installation, servicing, and maintenance of burglar and fire alarm and annunciation equipment;
- TSB-7 Installation, servicing, and maintenance of smoke exhaust systems;
- TSB-8 Installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire extinguishing equipment.
The most popular is intensive refresher course TSB-2 (Building security equipment installation and operation), which offers the best coverage of security system development and maintenance issues. The course studies installation and operation rules for fire alarm and annunciation, access control, and CCTV systems, as well as rules for installation of low-voltage systems in building automation and management systems, and methods of network quality control. In addition to technical knowledge, the refresher program allows to study regulatory and legal documents.
For those who need SRO permission for operation at high hazard facilities, ARMO Training Center offers refresher course TSB-5 (Design, installation and commissioning of security equipment for high hazard, technically demanding, and unique facilities) developed according to recommendations of MES and Russian Nuclear Inspection (Atomnadzor), with special certificate issued on completion.
Individual approach offered at ARMO Training Center, allows each student to achieve high results, since training is organized in small groups of up to 8 people. Refresher programs are developed in a manner which serves to provide maximum theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the shortest period of time. In addition to professional advancement certificates, students also receive certificates proving that they are authorized to work with Simplex, Lenel, and other systems covered by the program.
